Have you heard of Drawtober? It’s a creative challenge during the month of October to create art everyday. But it’s sometimes hard to think of things to make, so that’s why a bunch of people put out prompt lists, like us!
The Rules: There are no rules in art!
Okay, so, this is a challenge, not a competition. You get to create your own guidance. We will have a daily prompt for everyday of the month. Can’t draw every day? Do two another day! Or combine prompts! Maybe drawing every weekend is your stretch. Would you rather paint? Go nuts! The goal is not to follow a strict set of rules, but to encourage everyone to practice and grow as an artist.
For the past several years, we have let our Drawtober Prompt List be a daily surprise, but we recognize not everyone likes surprises. So we are publishing the list here for anyone who wants the full list. Feel free to print it out for your own reference. We will still be posting the prompts daily to our Instagram and setting up the drawing table with the day’s prompt at the shop.
