Glue and gesso, bold markers and torn pages, we will be transforming unwanted or damaged books into art journals suitable for whatever kind of art you make. Painting? Absolutely. Sketches? Certainly. Reverse poetry? These are perfect.

Altered books? We will be taking unwanted or damaged books and transforming them into art journals. There will be glue, gesso, torn pages, and big black markers. Repurposing the old into something you can use now.

This class is a three week class covering the basics of crochet. How to choose a hook based on the yarn, start a project, create the 3 most common stitches, and end a project. We will be making Mug Rugs. Recommended for people over 8 years old.
